Billing and Insurance
Payment policies and accepted insurance plans are covered here.
All insurance co-payments or deductibles are due at the time of service and will be collected at check-in. If we do not have a contracted arrangement with your insurance plan, you will be expected to pay in full at the time of service. We accept cash, check, debit cards, MasterCard and Visa as payment options.
We will gladly file your medical charges with your insurance carrier. If payment has not been received within 45 days of filing, you will be notified and asked to contact your insurance company. We accept assignment for most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance carrier to confirm that Total Spine Specialists is a provider.

Insurance Authorizations
Your insurance company may require authorization before some testing and treatments can be performed. Many plans with which we are affiliated do not require authorizations because of our specialized training. We will work hard to obtain authorizations as quickly as possible. Some insurance plans can take up to 2 weeks to grant authorization. We suggest you check with us by phone if you have not heard from our office by 2 weeks after the date of your last appointment
Medicare
Total Spine Specialists is a Medicare provider. We ask that you bring your Medicare card and any supplemental policy cards with you to the office.
Personal Injury Claims
If your spinal problem relates to an auto accident or other insured injury, please tell our office when you make your appointment. Payment is expected on the date of service. We will provide any requested paperwork to your legal representative. We do not accept liens or assignment or any type of third party payment.
